Renewing a facility licence

Renewals open 30 days before expiry and only go through if your file is clean and your violations are settled. It is a short job when nothing has been left - and an expensive one when something has.

What we do for you

  • Open your file inside the 30-day window every year, without you having to remember
  • Settle outstanding violations before they block the renewal
  • Keep your trade licence, waste contract and accreditation from expiring out of sync

What you will need

  • Valid trade licence
  • Valid owner ID
  • Accreditation certificate (hospitals and medical laboratories)
  • Valid WEQAYA contract

How it runs

  1. 1The renewal is opened on the authority system
  2. 2The form is completed and documents submitted
  3. 3The authority checks compliance and any outstanding violations
  4. 4Fees are paid
  5. 5The renewed licence is issued

Authority fees

Charged as part of the health operating permit; the authority does not publish one figure. We quote you the exact amount.

These are the authority’s fees, paid to them. Our fee is quoted for your case once we have seen the file.

Questions we get asked

We missed the window. Have we lost the licence?
Almost certainly not - late renewal exists, though a penalty may apply. The real risk is the gap: operating without a current licence. Treat it as this week’s problem and it stays small.
